Czech author, model, and classic vocalist, YV SALOME—a songstress who started her singing career from a deep love of baroque music. Her latest track, “Kill U”, which she unveils today,  is the second song from the upcoming EP “Love my Life” which is set for release at the end of 2020.

“The song itself is special somehow,” she explains, “because it was written in one night compared to other songs sometimes requiring months to be finished.”

Upon the dualism between light and dark found within, she continues:

“It is said that a great good always has a great evil standing by its side. As all the things in this world, love is accompanied by its opposite as much as happiness is. The higher you get the more pain you’ll feel falling down. But the thing is not to avoid something that can hurt you but not to be afraid of these two sides of one coin. Cause it’s ok to be in pain, it’s ok to feel bad and it’s ok to have feelings you’re afraid of, it’s just fine. Actually it’s the only way to understand the real nature of anything in this world, only after you’ll perceive it from both sides.”

Listen below:

Taking inspiration from the literary heroes of the past such Edgar Allan Poe to Oscar Wild, and utilizing her insights into the human psyche through her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, YV SALOME explores a sophisticated and hedonic world where all the pleasures and all the forms of self-expression are possible and celebrated.

The city of Prague where YV SALOME resides, has always inspired people in relation to the mysteries of this world. And the mysteries are always waiting for these who are ready to dedicate their lives to it.

“Being model or artist means to be changeable, be different and this is what I do – I change, I evolve and constantly challenge myself. In order to overcome dark and grim truths of this world, I’m exploring the depths of a human being and it’s abilities. I moved from pretty typical gothic-metal music to electronic music, from classical vocals to pop singing. This is what I believe can help you to understand how to keep it yours and keep it fun … move further, change, dive deeper” – says YV SALOME.

“Kill U” is set for release on May 8th worldwide through all platforms.
