Autobahn fall into a shoegaze daydream in “The World Around You Is Fractured Somehow”

Leeds-based post-punk quintet Autobahn are hitting the road in continental Europe this month. Ahead of the 13 date trek the band have released The World Around You Is Fractured Somehow—a new non-album single that is hot on the heels of the recent release of Autobahn’s sophomore LP The Moral Crossing which came out this past November 3rd via felte.

The track is a slumbered daydream in the furore of a crowded room—with cascading synths and a soft exhalation of vocals evoking a similar mood to the shoegazey track Future featured on The Moral Crossing.
