The Cure’s rarest 4 songs | The “Lost Wishes” EP

Wish was the 9th, and one of the most commercially successful albums from The Cure, and certainly a fan favorite of the catalog from the post-punk legends. In addition to the singles, “Friday I’m In Love, “High, and “Letter to Elise”,  the album contained the heartrending songs “Trust” and “Apart”, and the spellbinding “From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea”, all of which are often listed as highlights from the record’s 12 consistently good tracks.

Despite the popularity of the 1992 Platinum-selling album, however, there has yet to be a Deluxe Edition released through Rhino or Warner Music—who seem to have stopped with The Cure Reissues with 1989’s Disintegration and the Remix album Mixed Up.

This is a shame, as the Fanclub only release Lost Wishes, 4 fantastic instrumental tracks release via cassette tape on November 16th, 1993 contains as of now, the rarest of all Cure tracks, as it was strangely omitted from 2004’s Join The Dots compilation boxset.

So, until they finally release that Wish deluxe edition, here are each of the 4 tracks from Lost Wishes, enjoy:

Uyea Sound

Cloudberry
