For the first time in a decade, the High Priestess of Dark Glamour, Siouxsie Sioux, will be returning to the stage with the announcement that she will headline the Latitude Festival. The last time Siouxsie played live was Yoko Ono’s Meltdown Festival at London’s Royal Festival Hall in 2013.
This year has been big for Siouxsie Resurgence: Gen Z embraced her with open arms, eyeliner tributes, and spider dancing all over TikTok this year. The Banshees’ thrilling classic “Spellbound” was included on the Stranger Things Season Four soundtrack, while Sioux’s mesmerizing dance performances over the years helped influence the viral dance scene in the Tim Burton production of Wednesday. All Souls, a Banshees compilation album, also dropped in October.
On Sunday, 23 July 2023, Siouxsie shares an eclectic bill with Pulp, Lightning Seeds, The Kooks, The Proclaimers, and George Ezra on the picturesque grounds of Henham Park, Suffolk.
Weekend and day tickets for the festival are on sale now. For the full lineup and all ticket info, visit LatitudeFestival.com.
