Pixies To Embark on Extensive European Tour This Fall to Promote New Album

The Pixies are set to embark on extensive European tour this fall to promote the next album release. the follow-up to 2016’s Head Carrier.

While the 4AD Records veterans have not released any details of the new album as of yet, they have teased further information with the announcement of their Past Is Prologue podcast, coming this June.

“Imagine that 14 years after returning to the scene, you’re back in the studio recording a new album to build on your legacy and take your place at the forefront of the genre that YOU created,” said the band in a statement. “Imagine that you’re a member… of the Pixies.”

They continued: “Every episode will document the band’s new music, from its earliest stages through to completion, giving fans the opportunity to witness the evolution of the tracks.”

The band’s full upcoming UK and European tour dates are below. Tickets are on sale from 10am on Friday April 5.
