Patriarchy Debuts Voyeuristic Video for the Baby Magick of Haex Remix of “No Touch Torture”

Los Angeles’ genre-defying underground music act Patriarchy announces the release of “Forcefully Rearranged,” a remix album deconstructing the band’s album “The Unself.” The album contains sixteen fresh remixes, from sampler-driven industrial bangers, to thick modern techno, to emotional glistening gems, to numbers evoking the Wax Trax era. You’ll hear offerings from The Soft Moon, Zanias, Kontravoid, Spike Hellis, MVTANT, and more.

Be cautious before watching the new video for the Baby Magick Haex Remix of “No Touch Torture.” It may be disturbing and not suitable for work, but it is, of course, a video produced by Patriarchy after all. In the video, which echoes the Siouxsie and The Banshees song “Monitor,” Actually is shown voyeuristically watching “the guitarist” and “the drummer” in their hotel rooms from a room filled with CRT TVs. There are also scenes from a fantasy garden-like setting that can be viewed from some of the screens. Unfortunately, this fairy tale does not have a happy ending.

Watch below, but you’ve been warned!

Based in Los Angeles, California, Patriarchy is a band led by Actually Huizenga, known for their distinctive fusion of goth pop, industrial, and pliable metal sounds. Their album, “The Unself,” comprising 12 tracks, was released a year ago on August 26, 2022. The record has been widely acclaimed for its deranged masterpiece quality, with fans praising its incorporation of sex,  humor, theatrical makeup, and over-the-top songs.

This band is renowned for incorporating their music into their energetic performances which serve as a distinctive fusion of musical genres. They have been actively touring and playing live shows at various festivals and countries. They have toured Europe and North America, and (dis) graced stages at notable festivals like Terminus Fest, Substance Festival, and Verboden in Vancouver.

The remix album “Forcefully Rearranged” will be released on August 22nd.
