This past Sunday during their headlining set at the All Points East Festival at Victoria Park in London, Nick Cave treated fans to a spellbinding reunion with fellow Australian singer Kylie Minogue who intimately performed with Cave their duet “Where The Wild Roses Grow”, a single featured on the 1996 Nick Cave and the Bad Seed’s 1996 album Murder Ballads.
Cave and Minogue gave the song its live debut at the Feile Festival in Cork back in 1995, and the last time they had performed the song together was at the Bad Seeds’ encore at London’s Koko club on November 3rd, 2013.
Watch as Minogue enters from stage left to embrace Cave during the song’s intro, going on to sing the duet with a rose in her hand, embracing Cave several times during the performance, and encouraging the crowd to sing along.
