[dropcap]L[/dropcap]ast night I dreamt that Morrissey  announced that he will finally return to the USA for a proper tour.  Wait, it wasn’t a dream, as Mozz actually will be trekking across the states in June and July to continue promoting his now sans-label album World Peace Is None of Your Business—with a new itinerary of 18 dates hosted in theaters, arenas and amphitheaters.  One of the gigs is showcased at Madison Square Garden in New York City that will be opened by none other than Blondie (Blondie opening for Morrissey? I think Mozz can die with a smile on his face after all).

The tour, which proceeds after five sold-out gigs at the Sydney Opera House, commences on June 11 in New Orleans, and includes a previously announced festival date in Delaware as well as stops at renowned venues including the Grand Ole Opry and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The tour wraps up July 25 in San Jose, Calif. with Amanda Palmer.

Wow, it seems like Morrissey is playing the all the Major venues’ worldwide on this one.
