Deutsch oder Englisch? If it’s English, BBC Four has you covered—as last night they aired a 2013 documentary on German electronic-music pioneers Kraftwerk—that besides interviews and other archival material, includes footage of the group’s 2013 album-by-album residency at London’s Tate Modern, (which was repeated recently at the Neue National Galerie in Berlin earlier in January)
“Kraftwerk: Pop Art,” by Simon Witter and Hannes Rossacher — has been available via YouTube in German, French and Spanish language versions, but thanks to last night’s U.K. broadcast (uploaded courtesy of jerometv), you will not need to take those extra classes at the Goethe Institute.
