ChameleonsVox “We Are All Chameleons” Farewell Tour on Pledge Music

Fantasies are in this year—as Mark Burgess has launched a Pledge Music campaign today in support of the ChameleonsVox farewell tour set for the spring and fall of 2015.  The UK and European tourdates will be full “What Does Anything Mean? Basically” sets in celebration of The Chameleons’ sophomore album’s 30th Anniversary, with the possibility of some of the shows containing “Strange Times” material or full sets.  As for the North American dates, they will be “The Script of the Bridge” sets, and are still being booked and confirmed at this time—with a couple of the gigs already selling tickets.

Perks for the campaign include special edition t-shirts, copies of Mark’s book “A View From A Hill”, VIP passes, and “Lyrics in a Beer Bottle”.  Here is Mark’s introduction to the campaign below:

Hi, this is Mark Burgess from The Chameleons. Over the last five years or so, with the help of a lot of talented people who share the love of the music that our band generated, we’ve managed to keep the music of The Chameleons alive, performing across Europe and the United States. Next year will mark the last tour Chameleonsvox will do. While we will get together for the occasional show as and when such an opportunity arises, the day to day touring will cease. The European dates are slated for Spring 2015, while the US dates are being booked for Autumn of 2015. Money raised from this pledge will be put towards the overheads and logistics of making the tours happen. So, if you want to be part of this check out the incentives. Thanks for your time and for reading this.

All the best
Mark Burgess
