Unveiling an entrancing, melodious darkness, Italian darkwave project Le Brame just released into the world their newest single, the hauntingly beautiful “Non Ti Abbandonare.” This melancholy serenade is the second to be released from their anxiously awaited EP, “Cravings.” Like a whispered plea in the void, the track paints a spectral portrait of internal lightlessness in moments of dire despair, amidst the capricious ebb and flow of everyday existence.
Le Brame, an enigmatic project birthed from the marriage of traditional post-punk influences and echoes of the 80s Italian darkwave scene, counts amongst its spiritual ancestors the likes of Litfiba, Matia Bazar, and Franco Battiato, as well as creative contemporaries such as VR SEX. Their sound, a compelling meld of the captivating and the eerie, weaves a spellbinding wave of sonic emotion. “Non Ti Abbandonare,” resplendent in its haunted beauty, is but a dim-lit window into the profound talent and fervor that the mysterious Le Brame brings to the gloaming realm of darkwave.
Iridescent synths twinkle like stars in the void, while the sorrowful timbre of the vocals reverberate within the soul, coupled with relentless percussive beats that thread a retro charm through the track. Sung entirely in their native tongue, the Italian lyrics lend an additional layer of mystery to the track. The sardonic drawl of Le Brame’s vocals tremble with raw, unfiltered sentiment in the song’s denouement.
“Non Ti Abbandonare” expresses the glory of not abandoning ourselves to the illusions and lies of depression,’ says the artist.

In the year 2022, the lyrical anthem was lovingly sculpted by the deft hands of Le Brame, subsequently immortalised in audio form through the meticulous handiwork of Jack Milwaukee (M!R!M), and Matteo Pupa. The charming cities of London and Lucca served as the canvas upon which these sonic maestros painted their auditory masterpiece. Those whose hearts beat in time with the rhythm of this genre ought to lend an eager ear to the remaining tapestry of sounds in their upcoming EP. It whispers a promise, gently but with conviction, of an experience that will sear itself into the folds of your memory, refusing to be forgotten.
