Gothic Wave Duo Wintry Debut Their Video for “Ich Glaub Dir Nicht”

German/Brazilian duo Wintry have unveiled their video for “Ich Glaub Dir Nicht” a track taken from their second studio album Timeline which is due out November 18th.

Wintry was formed by Anne Goldacker (ex-Obsyre) and Alex Twin (3 Cold Men / Individual Industry). The new album follows duo’s debut 7” single “Ausweg” which was produced by British producer and musician John Fryer.

The song “Ich Glaub Dir Nicht”, which translates into English as “I Don’t Believe” sounds as if it was recorded in 1986, capturing the icy halo of classic 4AD records, not unlike the dark post-punk and gothic rock explored by luminaries such as Xmal Deutschland, and Clan of Xymox.

Watch the video for “Ich Glaub Dir Nicht” below:

Timeline will be released limited edition 200 copies on vinyl, 300 copies on CD eco pack, with the digital Mp3 release exclusive in America via Cleopatra Records, and worldwide distribution by Wave Records + Young and Cold.

“Timeline” has 7 tracks with German lyrics, 1 instrumental and 2 in English. The CD and digital comes with 4 bonus tracks, with one featuring Pieter Nooten (founder member of Clan of Xymox) and Marcelo Gallo (Brazilian producer).
