Dreampunk Duo Seasurfer drift through Fuzz-laden Catharsis in their video for “Too Wild”

Dreampunk duo SEASURFER are set adrift with their surreal video for “Too Wild”, the second single from the band’s forthcoming album following the spellbinding video for “Lovers Breakdown”, a marvelous shoegaze track that was previewed last December.

The video for “Too Wild” sees the Hamburg based band donning sullen cat masks while keeping themselves occupied during these dark times by engaging in a myriad assortment of activities including: playing basketball, driving through a winding wooded road, and playing a fusion of danceable and dreamy electro shoegaze with ethereal vocals that invoke a fuzz-laden catharsis.

Besides the original version of “Too Wild”, three bands are contributing beautiful remixes of the track: Justin Stephens from Berlin-based Wires & Lights offers a straight Post Punk style. Whereas Harald Löwy from Chandeen joins with a cool cinematic downtempo mix. And lastly, Krissy Vanderwoude and Neil Burkdoll from US band Whimsical bring in an emotional Dream Pop sound.

Watch the video below:

The third SEASURFER album is scheduled for release in October. In the meantime, the single “Too Wild” is available on Bandcamp now.
