Belgian post-punk act Whispering Sons never cease to amaze with their matching the quality of their brilliant sound with the breathtaking visuals explored in their music videos.
Such is the case once again with the band’s latest music video, “Hollow”; a somber dirge culled from their critically acclaimed debut LP Image.
In the clip, we see the band wander the wilderness, draping ribbons over trees, in shots deftly edited that utilizing deep oranges and blues, framed in various aspect ratios, all together combining to heighten the deep existential despair is encapsulated in the striking line “life is very long when you are stuck in existence”.
