Ahead of Andrew Eldritch taking the band on tour in Europe, Rhino Records’ is continuing its vinyl reissue campaign for The Sisters of Mercy with an expanded 4LP box set of the band’s 1992 compilation Some Girls Wander By Mistake.
The compilation collected the Sisters’ singles from 1980 to 1983, including The Damage Done, Body Electric, Anaconda (A-side only), Alice and The Reptile House EPs, plus both sides of Temple of Love 12-inch.
The first two LP include the original compilation—with the additional two bonus 12-inches that including a re-recorded version of Temple of Love from 1992 that features Israeli singer Ofra Haza, remixes of Vision Thing and Under the Gun, and the 1993 version of Alice.
Due out September 1st, the boxset is pressed on on 180-gram vinyl, and retails for $79.98.
