The Jesus and Mary Chain had already toured both Europe and the US earlier this year in support of the band’s first new studio album in 18 years, Damage and Joy. It seemed as if they had not even finished the first round of their European tour for the new LP (this editor’s feet were still sore from pogoing at the Berlin gig), when it was announced that they would be returning to Europe again very soon with Cold Cave in tow for a series of dates between October 5th to October 17th.

After that, both The JAMC and Cold Cave would then be heading off to Los Angeles for the “all black dress code” Cloak and Dagger Festival  on October 21st.

Now, the Reid brothers have announced their plans to return stateside for 12 more gigs this October and November, with a date at The Fillmore in San Francisco on October 19th, before their aforementioned headlining festival date in LA.

Note that before all of this, there are a series of UK Dates too, with various openers—such as Chain of Flowers and The Primitives.

For all this info, and ticket purchasing links, go over to The JAMC’s official website
