Australian alternative rockers The Church are celebrating the 30th anniversary of Starfish, the band’s fifth studio album with a North American tour this October.
Twenty dates have been listed and confirmed so far via ticketing websites (see below), with the individual venues in the U.S. and Canada billing each show as Starfish 30th Anniversary concerts, with some posters explicitly stating that the band will be:
“playing the entirety of their classic, ground-breaking album Starfish and a selection of band and fan favorites.”
Starfish contains The Church’s two best known singles. “Under The Milky Way”, and “Reptile”. Both climbed the charts in 1988, with the former having a revival in popularity being featured on 2001’s Donnie Darko soundtrack.
