Following the release of “Fits of Rage” a few weeks back, Tamaryn continues her series of “Archetype Dramas” from her upcoming LP Dreaming the Dark.
Her latest self directed video is for the track “Angels of Sweat”—a shimmering cascade of warm synth-pop that sees Tamaryn in a Victorian-esque stage show (shot intermittently in jittery frame rates) where our heroine plays The Moon surrounded by Death, angels, and the minor arcana of the tarot.
All of this transpires in a such a dreamlike and whimsical manner that we can’t help but find reminiscent of the tone found in Shakespeare’s Sister’s video for “Stay” or something conjured from the mind of Kate Bush.
