Stephen Morris is working on a memoir chronicling his time in Joy Division and New Order

[dropcap]New[/dropcap] Order drummer Stephen Morris is working on his own memoir after signing a book deal with Constable (an imprint of Little, Brown) and will release this autobiography in sometime in 2018. This book follows the memoirs  Unknown Pleasures: Inside Joy Division, and Substance. Inside New Order by Peter Hook and Bernard Sumner’s  Chapter And Verse.

“After dropping pretty big hints over the past few years that I was writing about my recollections of nearly four decades living a fantastic and, at times traumatic, life creating music in Joy Division and New Order, I am delighted that Little, Brown has given my writing a home. I am really excited to be working with Andreas Campomar, whose enthusiasm for developing something more than a straight rock memoir is inspiring”.-Stephen Morris
