New York City’s industrial band Statiqbloom premieres the first slice of their Asphyxia Reconstructed EP out later this month. Also a NYC staple, the DJ and producer Star Eyes (owner of the label Chaos Clan) offers up an electro-infused Summer ’88 remix of “Silver Face”. Star Eyes has given the track a lighter groove, one indicative of late 1980s Skinny Puppy remixes such as the 808-infused “Addiction (Dog House Mix)”. Watch below:
The video is created by Statiqbloom member Fade Kainer. Though there’s not a release date yet for their self-released remix EP, follow their Bandcamp and Facebook for updates.
