Sid Vicious, born John Simon Ritchie—passed away from a drug overdose, and possible suicide on February 2nd 1979. An icon of Punk Rock, Sid was actually originally a Banshee before he was a Pistol—had far more depth than any poorly written rock biopic could ever portray.

In his memory, we are sharing one of his last interviews from September 18th, 1978, when Sid, Nancy Spungen, Stiv Bators, and Cynthia Ross (of The B Girls) all appeared together on Efrom Allen’s Underground cable television show.
