Siberian Post-Punks Ploho debut ” Между нами (Between Us)” from their forthcoming new album По краю острова, which translates from Russian into the title Phantom Feelings.

“Between Us” is the first new material from Ploho following the release of last year’s Пыль (Pyl), save for the collaborative track with Belarusians Molchat Doma, “По краю острова (Along the edge of the Island)”.

“Between Us” is a shift into a brighter bass-driven, and almost synth-pop oriented direction,  with richer and more emotive vocals from singer/guitarist Victor Uzhakov, who shifts from his usual deadpan delivery into a more vibrant and resonant baritone.

Listen below:

Formed in 2013, Ploho has gained popularity their native Russia, while slowly building up a dedicated fanbase in Europe and abroad. To date, Ploho has recorded four albums and several EPs, as well as more than 10 singles, which they supported by touring more than 40 cities in Europe, several times. The band has appeared at prominent festivals including Боль in Russia, Kalabalik in Sweden, and Platforma in Lithuania.

Phantom Feelings out on February 5th, 2021, via Artoffact Records.
