[dropcap]Severed[/dropcap] Heads areone of the longest running Australian electronic Post-Punk bands who formed in Sydney in back 1979 and are pioneers in the incorporation of ‘industrial’ noise-generation, tape cutting & looping and electronic sound synthesis.
After several “farewell gigs” over the years, including supporting Gary Numan’s 30th Anniversary of the Pleasure Principle tour, interest has been rekindled in Severed Heads following a recent reissue of “Dead Eyes Opened” through Dark Entries Records. Now the Tom Ellard fronted project is embarking on a US tour this Fall with 7 major city dates—starting in San Francisco on September 18th.
