Seattle’s Seaside Tryst Debuts Video for Earnest Synthpop Anthem “Brick by Brick”

Nestled beneath the brooding canopy of the Pacific Northwest sky, synthpop/post-glam outfit Seaside Tryst is a vibrant mosaic within the realm of dusky synth music. A quartet bound by a close-knit camaraderie, they form a chosen family united by their shared passions for glittering pop, guyliner, and a steadfast commitment to mutual support.

Characterized by its darkwave-infused melodies and glorious crooning, Seaside Tryst demonstrates their adeptness at channeling raw emotions onto the dance floor. The pulsating rhythm invokes a sense of blessed catharsis, where the line between sweat and tears becomes blurred.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of New Order, Soft Cell, Bronski Beat, and Jenn Champion, Seaside Tryst’s elegant offering, Brick By Brick, serves as the second installment from their forthcoming album, Different Places, released under the banner of Cruisin’ Records.

In the monochromatic world crafted by an enigmatic director known only to the masses as “Pants,” the viewer is transported to a dimly-lit parking lot, where a curious array of demons and characters await. Each figure seems to embody a different aspect of the human subconscious, weaving together a strange and surreal experience. The setting, while seemingly mundane, adds a layer of intrigue to the mysterious tableau.
