Shoegaze luminaries Ride are releasing a new album! The Creation records veterans have announced today that they have just finished recording their 6th studio album—the follow up to 2017 Weather Diaries.
Weather Diaries was the band’s first new album since 1996’s Tarantula, which saw Ride call it quits during the album’s production. It would not be until November 19th, 2014 that the band would reunite.
In the interim since releasing Weather Diaries, the Ride had issued the four track EP Tomorrow’s Shore, featuring the track “Catch You Dreaming”—a leftover from the Weather Diaries’ sessions.
No further announcements have been made on the new album on this time. But we will keep you informed when the band are ready to share new music.
