Philadelphia based Post-Punk band Remote/Control have shared with us today their fantastic debut single Exposure—a cascade of guitars bass and synths with anthemic vocals that energise the senses to the point of pupil dilation.
The band’s music draws influence from the causes and effects of a post-industrial, capitalistic and social media-driven society whose values act to both undermine and highlight what is is to be human in the 21st century.
The single sees it’s release on October 21st along with a remix by the legendary Post-Punk band, Crash Course in Science.
Along with the digital release, there will be a limited edition of 50 hand-numbered cassette tapes available that will be for sale at their show with Crash Course in Science at Underground Arts in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 21st. Any unsold cassettes will be available for sale on Bandcamp the following day.
The show at Underground Arts is also the record release party for Crash Course in Science’s new album, ‘Situational Awareness’.
Exposure is the first single off Remote/Control upcoming EP, “Wasteland”. The single is available starting October 21st.
