[dropcap]It[/dropcap] has been announced that 2 volumes of “Classic Album Selections” the first included the first 6 Siouxsie and the Banshees albums (including the live album Nocturne), will be released in the new year. These are remasters by Kevin Metcalfe,  each album individually housed across 6 compact discs  in gatefold card sleeves, all together collected in a lovely slipcase.

This release follows Spellbound: The Collection, an introductory compilation to the Banshees that was released earlier in 2015-

The release date for Volume I of the “Classic Album Selections” is Jan. 29th. 2016, with Volume 2 to follow in  March or April of 2016.

2016 marks the 40th anniversary of Siouxsie and The Banshees, so we can certainly expect more releases and announcements to follow in the new year.
