New Order are set to reissue their 1981 debut album Movement in a “Definitive Edition” boxed set this April. The album will be available on both CD and vinyl in a 4-disc collection that also includes a bonus CD filled with previously unreleased demos and a DVD of early live appearances and television appearances, plus a hard backed book all housed in a lift off lid box.
One of those performances was of the band’s Ian Curtis penned “Ceremony”, which had initially been planed as the follow up single to Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart”.
This version of “Ceremony” was filmed at Manchester’s CoManCHE Student Union on February 6, 1981, and had only been previously available on the FACT 56 compilation video.

The Movement: Definitive Edition box set will be released April 5th, and can be pre-ordered now via Amazon.co.uk. The box set can also be pre-order directly from the band in bundles that include additional 12-inch singles and a T-shirt.
