Mystery Clock could mean new Depeche Mode album officially announced in October

[dropcap]A[/dropcap] mystery clock on the Depeche Mode official website is counting down to something big to be revealed on October 11th. Dave Gahan and Martin Gore has been talking about their 14th studio album for a while, and recording was finished this past summer (with an instagram picture hinting the album will feature modular synths). We were already teased with with a DVD compilation, so this clock certainly heralds something entirely different.

This countdown could mean that the new album’s release is upon us, or at the very least this means a new single will premiere.

UPDATE: Sources tell us there will be a press conference when the countdown ends at 12:00pm GMT (7:00am EST)
