German Gothic Rock Outfit Marquee Moon’s “Beyond the Pale” Promo Video Unearthed!

Check out this funny promo video just recently transferred from an old VHS for “Beyond the Pale”, a promo video for the song by Berlin’s own Gothic Rock cult heroes, Marquee Moon.  The band features Hanzy Nischwitzview (guitar), Nigel Degray (bass), and Tom Peterson (drums)  of Skid Byers (vocals), was founded in Berlin in early 1984. Their name is taken from the 1977 album “Marquee Moon” by Television.

Pardon the audio quality, as the following clip is a straight from VHS transfer without any additional editing. Enjoy!

Endorsed by John Peel, Marquee Moon reached international cult status, and they became very well known in Germany after touring with the Ramones and The Kinks.
