Manchester-based post-punk act Xup has just released their sixth studio album “Feed The Wolf Inside”, and has now just in time for Halloween, unveiled the video for “Disconnect”.
XUP is a one-woman show, with seasoned musician Lane on vox, mustang bass, and the drums. Formerly of The Chelsea Girls (who later became Nine Black Alps), Lane records and performs as XUP and is based in Manchester UK. conjuring post-punk meets no-wave sounds like if Jim Jarmusch were to cast Joy Division in an arthouse B-movie starring Sonic Youth and Patti Smith.
