[dropcap]New[/dropcap] York’s post-punk ensemble The Harrow premiered the Xavier Paradis remix of the track “Kaleidoscope” today—a captivating transmutation of the original song’s dreamlike textures into a rhythmic electronic music dance track.
Paradis helms the Montreal-based music project Automelodi, and is a longtime co-conspirator of The Harrow. He had previously served as mixer for last year’s Dirty Minds split single with Dead Leaf Echo, and worked on The Harrow’s 2015 album Silhouettes and their 2014 cover of The Glove’s Mouth to Mouth.
“Kaleidoscope (Automelodi’s Sonnambula Mix)” is the first building block for the band’s remix album “Points of View,” which will contain interpretations of songs from “Silhouettes” by various friends and collaborators.
