Leeds Post-Punk Outfit Drahla Announce US Tour

Leeds-based post-punk outfit Drahla have announced a U.S. tour in the wake of releasing their acclaimed Useless Coordinates LP via Brooklyn-based IndieCaptured Tracks.

The tour starts in late September and will span two short weeks, starting in DC on September 24th, and closing out on October 19th in Los Angeles.

The album, whose dark, sexy, and sax-laden eclectic groove highlights the band’s ranging influences from UK Post-Punk heroes Gang of Four, to NYC No Wave Auteurs James Chance and the Contortions, to RISD Art Rockers Talking Heads, was recorded in 2018 following a headline tour, support slots with Ought and METZ, and multiple festival appearances—including at Meltdown at the request of The Cure’s Robert Smith.

If you have not heard Useless Coordinates yet, then it is certainly time to revisit the singles from LP, “Serenity”, “Stimulus for Living”, and “Pyramid Estate”, and the rest of the album via Spotify.
