Reaping accolades for their seventh studio album, Time’s Arrow, and having made a victorious comeback to live shows after a four-year lull, the UK’s dark synth luminaries, Ladytron, are back in the limelight. Their latest offering to the dance music scene is a spellbinding remix of their classic hit “Destroy Everything You Touch,” brought to life anew by renowned DJ/producer Space Motion.
First introduced in Ladytron’s 2005 LP, Witching Hour, “Destroy Everything You Touch” has been a perpetual favorite among fans and DJs, retaining its allure in club playlists to this day. In a captivating rework, Space Motion deftly interlaces hypnotic house and sharp techno elements with Ladytron’s ethereal vocals and riveting rhythm, all while retaining the original’s enigmatic aura.
As of now, the remix holds an exclusive spot on Beatport, with a wider release scheduled on all streaming platforms by June 23.
Following a successful series of West Coast U.S. gigs, including a memorable performance at the Just Like Heaven Festival, Ladytron is set to perform live stateside once again. Spurred by popular demand, they are poised to hit the road for a Fall 2023 tour, headlining the esteemed Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles, and performing in iconic locales such as New York City, Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Diego’s famed CRSSD Fest. Fans can anticipate a fusion of beloved classics, crowd-pleasers, and exciting new offerings from Time’s Arrow.
