Italian darkwave project Le Brame has just revealed the launch of their debut single, “Luna,” the first release from their forthcoming EP, “Cravings.” This track serves as a metaphorical representation of the absence of inner light during moments of dire need amidst the tumultuousness of daily life.
Le Brame’s musical style has been influenced by classic post-punk bands (like Fad Gadget) as well as the Italian darkwave scene from the 80s, including the likes of Litfiba, Matia Bazar, and Franco Battiato. With a sound that is both captivating and haunting, “Luna” offers a glimpse into the incredible talent and passion that the enigmatic Le Brame brings to the world of darkwave. Crystalline synths, Juno arpeggiators, and driving percussion bring a retro flavour to the track, sung entirely in Italian. Le Brame’s droll vocals quaver with pure emotion in the outro.

The song was written by Le Brame in 2022, then recorded, mixed, and produced by Jack Milwaukee (M!R!M) in London. Fans of this genre should keep an ear out for the rest of their EP, as it promises to be an unforgettable experience.
