Fresh off of their European Tour—funky Los Angeles-based EBM Duo High Functioning Flesh have premiered their video for Talk About from their upcoming album ‘Culture Cut.’
The record is due out June 23rd via Dais Records—with “Talk About”, the first track of the new LP, highlightíng an approach to EBM reminiscent of when breakbeat, synth, drum machine, and sampling techniques were also shared across the Industrial and Hip Hop genres—a style found on early Wax Trax! releases.
Watch the video, directed and produced by Amanda Siegel, below:
This is a promising start to Gregory Vand and Susan Subtract second full-length outing, which was self-produced and mixed by the pair in their personal studio during the Fall of 2016, with the use of newly acquired vintage Roland and Oberheim equipment.
Order the album in limited editions of clear blue vinyl, “sunglass” colored, and standard black vinyl here.
