Oh can I talk to you? In your deep sleep…
Stockholm’s Gothic Rock four-piece Then Comes Silence have begun the season of the witch with the premiere of their video for the track Good Friday. The track is a dark and mournful reflection on singer/bassist Alex Svensons father passing away; he goes on to explain:
“I’d just started writing on the new album when my father suddenly passed away. He lived thousands of miles away from me and we didn’t keep in touch as much as we should have. I’ve understood now that he needed someone to talk to. Writing the album became a healing process. I miss him a lot and fortunately he pops up in my dreams every now and then. That’s basically what ‘Good Friday’ is about.”
Then Comes Silence was formed in 2012, with singer/bassist Alex Svenson joined by Seth Kapadia & Jens Karnstedt on guitars, and Jonas on percussion.
Their fourth LP BLOOD, is due out October 20th through German label Nuclear Blast Records.
The album will be available in a lavish digibook and on either bloodred or black 180g vinyl
