Martial Canterel delivers a warm shiver of modular synthpop in ‘The Tower’

Martial Canterel, the solo guise of Xeno and Oaklander’s Sean McBride, has released a second single from his upcoming LP, Lost At Sea.

“The Tower” is a warm shiver of bubbly modular synthpop accented with cascading sheets of reverb and dreamlike ambience—welcoming the change heralded by the arcana bearing its name.

Lost at Sea, due out on Dais Records on September 29th, is the NYC modular synth maestro’s first solo LP since 2014’s Gyors, Lassù. Watch the video for the previous single Giving Up.
