Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, and Drab Majesty to Headline Cold Waves Festival’s 10th Anniversary Lineup

Chicago’s Cold Waves Festival has announced its initial lineup for its 10th anniversary this September. This year, the Industrial themed festival features a jam-packed three-day event spanning multiple genres, including post-punk, darkwave, and synth-pop, with headliners Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb—along with Covenant, The Cocks, Drab Majesty, Portion Control, The KVB, The Foreign Resort, Actors, KITE, Kontravoid, Spike Hellis, Rare DM, and more.

Cold Waves festival was founded in 2012 as “a celebration of Chicago’s relationship with industrial music”. The first edition was set up following the death of sound engineer and musician Jamie Duffy, whose passing the festival organizers have stated: “had a profound effect on the electronic and metal music families he meant so much to.”

The festival, scheduled from September 22nd to the 5th, is set to announce its full event lineup for its 10th edition on March 1st, followed by tickets going on sale three days later on March 4th.
