Dark Force Fest Returns with Nitzer Ebb, Ash Code, Then Comes Silence, Creux Lies, and More!

The team that created Triton Festival and Dark Side of the Con, VampireFreaks, announces the 2024 edition of Dark Force Fest, a convention gathering featuring an exciting lineup of the most beloved international legacy bands along with the newest trending artists from the gothic, industrial, darkwave, and post-punk scenes. The event takes place from Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 21.

Dark Force Fest 2024 is set to be an unforgettable extravaganza, with over 30 bands ready to electrify the stage, in addition to an eclectic blend of entertainment and activities designed to cater to all facets of the alternative subculture. The festivities kick off with a dazzling drag queen show, hosted by the incomparable Onyx Ondyx, adding a splash of glamour and theatricality to the dark ambiance. Attendees will also be treated to mesmerizing sideshow performances, where the extraordinary becomes the norm, challenging perceptions and thrilling the senses.

In an intriguing twist, the festival will host a live bats exhibit, curated by the renowned NJ Batman, offering a unique fusion of education and fascination with these mysterious nocturnal creatures. As night falls, the event transforms into a pulsating club scene, with DJ events spinning the best of goth-industrial beats. For those seeking a deeper dive into the culture, panels and presentations provide insights and discussions on a variety of topics relevant to the community.

Creativity abounds with arts and crafts activities, inviting attendees to express themselves or take home a piece of the festival’s dark magic. Over 100 vendors will be on-site, offering an array of goods from bespoke clothing to rare music memorabilia. To satisfy the cravings of the nocturnal crowd, a selection of food trucks will be serving up delicious fare, ensuring that the Dark Force Fest is not only a feast for the senses but for the palate as well.

Dark Force Fest will be located an hour from NYC at the massive, castle-styled Sheraton Parsippany, the perfect scene to howl at the suburban moon.

(Take note: the hotel rooms in the main venue are already sold out, but there are still plenty of overflow hotels in the surrounding area.)
