They say you can’t go home again, but for Matt Messore it took returning to his hometown of Cassadaga, Florida to discover a new path forward. After traveling across the country and time spent in his former group, Dear Tracks, 2018 found Messore indulging his DIY pop leanings, working as dream-pop outfit Cathedral Bells.
Joined by Griffin Marthe, Aaron Gollubier, & Jordan Bermudez, Cathedral Bells has dropped their latest offering into the world: “Fall Into Place”.
“Fall Into Place” is a sprawling, whirring world of atmospheric shoegaze; a soundscape seemingly plucked from the atmosphere and not a humble bedroom near Orlando. There are elements of Real Estate and Beach Fossils in their rich, wistful sound, as well as, Chapterhouse, The Cure, and My Bloody Valentine.

The new single is a part of a double-A cassette coming out this spring on Born Losers Records. You can pre-order the cassette on their Bandcamp here. You can also order the tape and shirt here.
To promote the album, the band will be setting sail on tour on the East Coast and throughout the Deep South. Check out their tour dates below.
