The Jesus and Mary Chain have confirmed two continental European festival appearances late summer and fall — in Paris, France, and in Katowice, Poland. This is ahead of the band’s sold out performances of their 1985 debut Psychocandy at five U.K. dates in November.
On Aug. 2 The Reid brothers are booked to play the Off Festival in Poland and the Festival les inRocks Philips in Paris on Nov. 16, just days before their Psychocandy gigs in the U.K. No confirmation yet whether the Mary Chain will be performing that Psychocandy at these festivals, or if they will play regular sets, as was done in South America this past spring.
