Esben and The Witch premiere new track ‘Blood Teachings’

Esben and the Witch recently used PledgeMusic  to raise funds for their studio time with Steve Albini of Big Black fame for their 3rd album. As of June 20th, the drive has reached 117% of its goal and the record is officially finished and will be released later this summer. As a thank you the band has released the first official single in the form of “Blood Teachings” to preview the new LP.

The eight minute track is a slow burner for the first half, channeling some Julie Driscol and Jefferson Airplane, but then the guitars start to burn with kerosene and take the song into full on Zeppelin. Take a listen below.
