Copenhagen’s Dune Messiah have premiered another video from the LP The Iron Oak. The latest cinematic piece accompanies the folk ballad-like track This Far, and is directed by Simon Minó from Swedish Post-punk band RA.
This is singer/songwriter Magnus Westergaard’s third video release in promotion of The Iron Oak—following the release of What You’ve Become, and We Vanish.
Joining Magnus for Dune Messiah’s live performances are Daniel Christensen on Electric guitar and a Synthesizers, and Victor Nuno on Bass and Drum Machine.
The band were on tour earlier this year performing alongside King Dude, Drab Majesty, and of the wand and The Moon. and are scheduled to play at the The NCN Festival in Leipzig this September.
“The Iron Oak is a certain type of really tough tree, that can live for a lon
g time despite all the extreme conditions. You can get that feeling as well as a human being, that even though you’ve been encountering pain and injustice you have the power to cynically live on.”
The Iron Oak is out now on vinyl and digital through Premium Abundance (Copenhagen), Instruments Of Discipline (Berlin), and Third Coming Records (Paris)
