Darkwave duo Child of Night has unveiled a psychedelic melange of distorted VHS imagery for their unnerving new video for “Compromise”, a disorienting synth composition that is in part coldwave and Giallo—overall capturing the dread from living in an era of lies and self-deception.
Vocalist/Composer, T.Wolfe elaborates:
“It’s easier to lie to others if you’ve also convinced yourself of the lie. It’s easy to be lied to when you want to believe what you’re being told, despite all competing evinced. In an atmosphere of alternative truths, how many things do you know for sure? “

“Compromise” is featured on the Clan Destine Records comp LIFE IST KRIEG. You can order it now ahead of its release on June 23rd. This new track follows the What Remains EP, which was released towards the end of 2018.
Meanwhile, Child of Night is set to embark on an extensive Mid-west to West Coast US tour starting next week in Chicago, on June 28th.
