Entre la luna y el mar
Donde me puedes encontrar
Entre la luna y el mar
De ti no puedo escapar
Lust is a hunger that feeds as it devours, a shadowed craving dressed in fleeting splendour. It strikes with the seduction of a vampire’s bite, intoxicating as it drains, leaving behind neither warmth nor substance, only the ghost of a pulse. What begins as a feverish pursuit becomes a hollow ritual, where desire turns to dependency, and ecstasy curdles into regret. The sorrow lies not in the hunger but in the surrender—a willing offering of the self to something that only takes. It is the deathless thirst of the undead, an ache that consumes even as it craves its own destruction.
Alex Okami’s latest offering, Vampiros, plunges deep into the sweet sting of desire and its biting aftermath—a tale told through tangled emotions and suffused with Spanish cadence. The track slinks with synths that shimmer like moonlit glass, spilling a sense of urgency and raw emotion. The lyrics evoke a nocturnal dance between desire and escape, where bats take flight and shadows consume the twilight. Amid the interplay of moonlight and the sea, an unshakable bond emerges—one of longing, pain, and inevitability. The imagery paints a tale of fleeting stars and bleeding faith, a struggle to break free from a seductive yet consuming connection.
Vampiros immerses the listener in Okami’s world of whispered secrets and lingering regrets, resonating with baroque electronic currents that create a compelling tension that will raise the hairs on your neck.
