My impatience for the highly anticipated of the February 17th release of Transfixiation from sonic trio A Place To Bury Strangers has been placated by the recent premiere of “We’ve Come So Far,” their second single from the upcoming album. This is a kinetic whirl of garage fuzz is still grounded very 60’s vibe—but a wee bit less Lou Reed than the prior single “Straight”. Really really can’t wait to pick this one up. In the meantime it’s time to grab a fresh pair of earplugs as A Place To Bury Strangers are going on tour…
Tue. Feb. 17 – Brooklyn, NY @ Music Hall of Williamsburg (w/ Grooms, Ed Schrader’s Music Beat)
