It is with this layered imagery that Toronto-based duo Modele invites us to peer deep into the mysteries of human emotion with their latest track, “Into Your Eyes.” Building on the momentum of their debut single “1001,” Modele’s post-punk, new wave infusion blends vintage allure with a contemporary swagger, capturing the surreal interplay of light, shadow, and soulful introspection.
“Into Your Eyes” is an evergreen post-punk anthem, melding the melodic edge of 1980s new wave with a 60s groove reminiscent of Echo and the Bunnymen and The Jesus and Mary Chain.
