The film “astonishing visual upgrade” has been worked on for over the past year—sourced from the original 35 mm film negative, and will now be presented in 4K Ultra HD in cinematic 16:9 widescreen.
The restored version was created “by shot-to-shot repositioning of each frame,” according to members of the band. The audio will be presented in Dolby Atmos, courtesy of Giles Martin (son of Beatles producer George Martin), and Sam Okell at Abbey Road Studios.
