Last year, beloved French coldwave group Trisomie 21 released Elegance Never Dies, at the time their first new record in eight years.
Now, a year later the group, formed in Lille France in 1981, and best known for their track “The Last Song”, have recruited a cadre of legendary producers to remix their last album for a follow-up release entitled Happy E.N.D.—including celebrated names such as Gareth Jones, John Fryer, and Dave Allen.
Allen in particular was enlisted to produce the “Cassandra Mix” of the track “Something Else”, bringing his talented ear that was used to develop in studio the lion’s share of The Cure’s back catalog, as well as The Sisters of Mercy’s debut, and music from The Mission, The Chameleons, and more.
